Q&A with Lee Knott, Principal Inspector at ABP

Q. Lee, tell us a bit about your role at ABP

A. I joined ABP as a mechanical engineering apprentice in 1980 and honed my trade for the next 10 years. In 1990 I secured a role in the quality department which I had a great interest in.

 

Q. You have worked in the company for nearly 40 years, what makes ABP special?

A. The team spirit is what makes ABP thrive and survive. Individuals come and go but we have always been fortunate to attract people with drive and enthusiasm.

 

Q. Why is quality so important at ABP?

A. ABP uses the philosophy that good quality products provide the measuring stick of any successful organisation. Therefore, everyone at ABP has taken on the responsibility to maintain and improve on Quality moving forward into the future.
