Acquisition of Advanced Detection Technology LLC ('ADT').

AB Precision (Poole) Ltd (ABP) is pleased to announce the acquisition by its parent company (HWH Investments) of 100% ownership of Advanced Detection Technology LLC ('ADT'). Located in Maiden, North Carolina, ADT is a world-renowned security and access control solutions manufacturer providing under-vehicle inspection systems, license plate recognition products, perimeter/facility access control systems and video surveillance solutions to a wide range of US and international customers. The acquisition of ADT is strategically important and will provide ABP, which supplies complementary security products, improved access to US markets for its products. ADT will also benefit from ABP's existing access to European and other international markets.

ABP Help the Fight Against Terrorists

In June 2010 AB Precision's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Division will deliver the final tranche of a significant number of Chevette Remotely Operated Vehicles and an associated spares package to the UK MoD. This fifth delivery will complete the current order which has been manufactured using concurrent and lean manufacturing techniques at our Poole facility. Achieving a condensed program has ensured monthly delivery to the customer and rapid forward shipment to UK troops in support of ongoing operations. Each ROV suite incorporates the latest technology to locate and neutralise conventional Unexploded Ordnance and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

ABP Help Upgrade the Bakerloo Line

ABP has recently completed a design and manufacturing program for supply of 12 Gate Line Attendance Points (GLAPs) to Transport for London. These GLAPs are to be used in high profile London Underground Bakerloo Line Stations undergoing refurbishment and modernisation. The GLAP serves an important function for London Underground staff providing a focal point for passenger assistance. As further refurbishment programs get underway it is expected that the ABP GLAP will become a common sight across the London Underground Network.
