Miniature Exploder (Minex)

Minex is a handheld exploder designed to initiate detonators such as the L2A1. Currently in use with the MoD and other Special Forces worldwide, the exploder is engineered to provide ease-of-use in challenging environments.

Product Capabilities

• Will initiate two series detonators connected with up to 1km of standard command cable
• Test function confirms the continuity of the cartridge and detonator circuit for a consistently reliable performance
• Supplied with a Shock Tube Adaptor, enabling initiation of Non-Electric (Nonel) shock tube products for maximum operator flexibility
• Compact dimensions are designed to enable one-handed initiation
• Operates in all terrains and environmental conditions, with a standard temperature range of -46°C to 49°C
